THE REVELATION OF HIDDENNESS
The Purim story is written in the scroll of Esther, which in Hebrew is called, "Megillas Esther." "MEGILLAH" comes from the root word meaning, "REVELATION." The name ESTHER is related to the Hebrew word for HIDDENNESS. So Megillas Esther means "THE REVELATION OF HIDDENNESS."
One of the Hiddenness that is revealed on Purim is the truth about the BRIDE OF CHRIST'S great responsibility assigned to Her by GOD THE FATHER, as God's people commit sins.
The sins of God's people resulted to the FATHER'S decision to put Christ in the "TRANCE OF SLEEP." In this situation, The BRIDE OF CHRIST has a very important role to play in the coming Redemption, as it is Her End-Time Elijah Works and righteous deeds that will "awaken" CHRIST from His "Sleep Mode!" But this does not mean that God sleeps or slumbers as we usually understand it, for it is written in Psalm 121:4,
- Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. (Psa 121:4 MKJV)
The origin of the "trance of sleep" was in the Garden of Eden as stated by Genesis 2:21.
- And the Lord God sent A DEEP SLEEP on the Man (Adam), and took one of...his side while he was sleeping, joining up the flesh again in its place: (Gen 2:21 BBE)
THE EFFECTS OF SIN ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GOD AND MAN, BETWEEN CHRIST AND HIS BRIDE
When God's people sin, there is a change in the concept and nature of man's relationship to God. God removed Himself from the people. As God is distanced or is hidden, the people now tend to perceive God as a separate Being at a distance. The knowledge about God became blurred and dim.
- For now we see in a mirror dimly... Now I know in part... (1Co 13:12 MKJV)
- For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. (1Co 13:9 MKJV)
So Christ is unable to function in His optimal mode of Face-to-Face, where God and His people enjoy a natural and supernatural intimate relationship. Instead of God's people experiencing God through the medium of supernatural events, we now "see" God acting through our natural day-to-day affairs. This "SLEEP MODE" of God's actions is a method of concealment.
