What Are The "LEAVEN of The PHARISEES & HEROD" That We Must Avoid? These Are The Religious and Political HYPOCRISY That Replaces The Grace and True Gospel of Christ With The Perverted Grace and False Gospel of Men.

Many Christians do not know that JUDAISM gave Birth to Christianity; but later on Christianity was separated from her Mother Jewish Church. This all happened because of the functioning of the Principle: "A LITTLE LEAVEN, leavens the WHOLE LUMP." The little leaven of the doctrines of the False Gospel of Men was allowed to enter the Jerusalem Church. As this "Leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees" was allowed to dwell in the First Century Church, it saturated and leavened the whole Jerusalem Church and the succeeding generations of the Churches. This leavening of the Churches continued for 2,000 years, up to our 21st Century End-Time generation today.

WHAT IS "LEAVEN"?

As a noun, a LEAVEN is a substance used to produce fermentation in dough or a liquid. It is also an influence that works subtly to lighten or modify something. The penetrating and diffusive quality of leaven, for good or bad, is the ground of the comparison.

As a verb, LEAVEN means to cause to puff up, or expands with a leaven; of dough. 

In the general Spiritual Applications, Leaven is used both in the Good sense and Bad sense. In the Bad sense, LEAVEN is a symbol of SIN. In the Good sense, LEAVEN is used as a symbol of the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 13:33). 

THE "LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES AND SADDUCEES" PLUS THE EGOISTIC ATTITUDE & CARNAL THINKING OF THE GENTILE CONVERTS PERVERTED THE GRACE & TRUE GOSPEL OF CHRIST

The early Church that separated from mainstream Judaism, was composed of both Messianic Jews and Gentiles. The Messianic Jews included some of the Pharisees, and those Jews influenced by the doctrines of the Pharisees. When Christ was still with His disciples in person, He gave the warning to "Take heed, and BEWARE the LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES and of the Sadducees" (Matthew 16:6).

• They understood that He did not say to beware of the leaven of Bread, but of the DOCTRINE OF THE PHARISEES and Sadducees.  (Mat 16:12 MKJV)
  

But, what is that specific Leaven of the Pharisees that we are told to be alert of, and to avoid at all costs?

• ... He began to say to His disciples first, Beware of the LEAVEN OF THE PHARISEES, which is HYPOCRISY.  (Luke 12:1 MKJV)

HYPOCRISY means "Insincerity by virtue of pretending to have qualities or beliefs that you do not really have."

Hypocrisy spreads like leaven or yeast in the modern technical term. Hypocrisy insinuates itself into the whole man, and all that he does.

Leaven or Yeast cause fermentation in its process. It puffs men up with pride, embitters them with malice, and makes their service unacceptable to God. 

But, the early Church failed to take heed, and they allowed the "Leaven of the Pharisees" to enter and take root. Because of this, that leaven of Hypocrisy "leavens the Whole Lump," affecting the whole Church and the succeeding generations of the Churches!  

Because of this Leaven of Hypocrisy mixed with the egoistic attitude and carnal thinking of the Gentile Christian members, the True Gospel of Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom that Christ taught them was lost. Then, the False Gospel of Men emerged and the Grace of Christ was perverted (Galatians 1:6-7). Thus, the Gospel and Grace learned by Billions of Christians and taught by today's Pastors and Churches are the False Gospel of Men, and the Perverted Grace of Christ! This is what happened when "a little leaven, leavens the Whole Lump" (1Corinthians 5:6-7, Galatians 1:6-7).

• Your Boasting is NOT Good. Do you not know that a little leaven LEAVENS the Whole Lump? (1Cor 5:6 MKJV)

• Therefore, PURGE out the OLD LEAVEN so that you may be a New Lump, as you are unleavened. For also Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. (1Cor 5:7 MKJV) 

• I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the GRACE OF CHRIST unto ANOTHER GOSPEL... there be that trouble you, and would PERVERT the GOSPEL OF CHRIST. (Gal 1:6-7 KJV) 

LIKE "WHITEWASHED TOMBS"?

As we have seen in Luke 12:1, the Leaven of the Pharisees is Religious Hypocrisy mixed with Politics. They appear Religious and Righteous OUTSIDE, but their INSIDE is rotten and unholy.

Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, Hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men's bones and every impurity.  (Mat 23:27)

• In the same way, on the OUTSIDE you seem Righteous to people, but INSIDE you are full of Hypocrisy and Lawlessness.  (Mat 23:28)

WHAT IS THE "LEAVEN OF THE SADDUCEES" AND HEROD?

• And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees, and of the LEAVEN OF HEROD. (Mark 8:15 KJV)

The "LEAVEN OF HEROD"is the same as the "LEAVEN OF THE SADDUCEES." Herod is a Sadducee and the Sadducees are his supporters, which are also called HERODIANS. Their hypocrisy is Political Hypocrisy combined with the religious Error of the Sadducees (Matthew 22:29). 

The Sadducees do not believe in the Truth of the Resurrection of the Dead, which is also called REINCARNATION (Matthew 22:23). They believed that the Soul is Mortal. 

The Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, has this to say: As Herod's family had converted to Judaism, his religious commitment had come into question by some elements of Jewish society.[19] When John Hyrcanus conquered the region of Idumaea (the Edom of the Hebrew Bible) in 140–130 BCE, he required all Idumaeans to obey Jewish law or to leave; most Idumaeans thus converted to Judaism, which meant that they had to be circumcised.[20] While Herod publicly identified himself as a Jew and was considered as such by some,[21] this religious identification was undermined by the decadent lifestyle of the Herodians, which would have earned them the antipathy of observant Jews.[22] Herod later executed several members of his own family, including his wife Mariamne I.[23]

And because of this "little leaven that leavens the Whole Lump," the Spirit of anti-Semitism and Deception (wiles of the Devil), begun to enter. It then expands, and corrupts the Judaism of the Jews, the Christianity of Christians, and the other world religions up to the 21st Century End-Time Generation. God's Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom and the REIGN of the King Messiah Christ Jesus will burst these "BUBBLES" of those leavening agents.
