So let's "keep the Feast," in the best way we can, but let's not forget what is really important during this season of Passover. Jesus Christ is the sacrificial Lamb of God who takes away all our sins and makes us clean and pure before God the Father.

The BRIDE OF CHRIST'S EXCELLENT MINISTRY OF LIFE

In the New Testament, the sacrificial death on the cross of the Lamb (Jesus Christ), sealed and guaranteed the salvation/redemption of Mankind. Thus, the Passover and the following 7 Days of Unleavened Bread (DUB) are observed by both Christians and Jews. But both of them just focus on the many physical and ceremonial preparations and Feast-keeping; the Spiritual and True Purposes of these Feasts are forgotten!

DON'T FORGET THE MOST IMPORTANT SPIRITUAL MEANING AND PURPOSE OF PASSOVER!

Thus, almost all Jews and Christians focused only on the physical and ceremonial aspects of the Passover and the following Days of Unleavened Bread (DUB) observance. After this year's Passover and DUB, they go back to their usual way of physical life. They feel satisfied, thinking that they have obeyed GOD's commandments about those Biblical festivals. Then, the cycle of the observance of these Feasts repeat, going back to the starting point => The Passover again. 

Is God satisfied in the ways we practice and observe His ordained festivals? Are they all in accordance with God's Purpose, Standards, and Expectations? Remember what God says in Isaiah 55:8-9. 

• "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways." This is the LORD's declaration. "For as Heaven is higher than Earth, so My ways are higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts."  (Isa 55:8-9 HCSB)

WHAT DOES PASSOVER REALLY MEAN TO YOU? Do You Really Know and Understand Passover And Unleavened Bread?

The Passover is the very first feast commanded by God to be observed by His people. And the events and scenarios behind Passover are of the following: 

1. Slavery and Freedom
2. Exile and Redemption
3. Salvation and Rejection
4. Life and Death

Now, we should ask ourselves and think deeper to what we are really doing, or of why we are doing them. So, when someone, or when our Children ask, we can give the right answer (Exodus 12:26-27).

• When your Children ask you, 'What does this ritual mean to you?' You are to reply, 'It is the PASSOVER SACRIFICE to the LORD, for He passed over the Houses of the Israelites in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians and spared our homes.'" (Exo 12:26-27 HCSB)

Therefore, Passover is a very important Feast of God to be observed and to be understood. If we fail to understand and appreciate what is the true meaning and purpose of the Passover and the following 7 Days of Unleavened Bread (Matzah), then we have partaken the Passover in an unworthy manner. This means that we acquired Condemnation, instead of Salvation (1Corinthians 11:26-30). This is a very serious stuff!

LIFE AND SALVATION IS IN THE BLOOD! 

• For THE LIFE OF THE FLESH IS IN THE BLOOD. And I have given it to you on the altar to make an atonement for your souls. For it is the BLOOD that makes an atonement for the soul.  (Lev 17:11 MKJV) 

• The BLOOD shall be to you for a token on the houses where you are: and WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU, and there shall no plague be on you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt. (Exo 12:13 HNV)

• … CHRIST OUR PASSOVER is sacrificed for us. (1Cor 5:7 MKJV).

When God the Father sees the BLOOD of His Son in each one of us, He "PASSES OVER" and exempt us, or save us from His wrath (Exodus 12:13, Romans 5:9). Every message, sermon, or "ritual" of Passover and the following Days of Unleavened Bread that does not emphasize this central fact is totally out of place, and meaningless. 

• ...NOW JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD, WE SHALL BE SAVED FROM WRATH through Him. (Rom 5:9 KJV)Ø 

• In Him WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD… according to the Riches of HIS GRACE… toward us IN ALL [MESSIANIC KABBALAH] WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING. (Eph 1:7-8 MKJV)

PASSOVER IS THE SECRET PRINCIPLE OF THE 144,000 FROM THE 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL!

Actually, this PASSOVER Principle is the same secret Principle of the 144,000 from the 12 Tribes of Israel. This is clearly explained in the New Revelation about the "CHRISTOS" OIL revealed by the Holy Spirit to that Filipino Man From the Far East (Isaiah 46:11).

The "SEARCH AND REMOVE LEAVEN" REQUIREMENT OF PASSOVER 

• You shall eat Unleavened Bread (Heb. Matzah) seven days ; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses. For whoever eats Leavened Bread (Heb. Chamets) from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.  (Exo 12:15 MKJV)

The observance of the Passover feast begins with the strict search for things with leaven just before the Passover. Every part and corner of the houses and vehicles are searched and cleansed of leaven and leavening agents. It is a strict requirement that none of it might remain when the feast begins. 

What is Leaven? Leaven is a symbol of sin or spiritual impurities that corrupts and enslaves a human being. This action to "search and remove" leaven gives the deeper meaning of removing the sins, even the secret sins in our lives.
The preparation of the BRIDE OF CHRIST is the purging of Her old leaven, and her continuous unleavening of Herself until the actual return of Her BRIDEGROOM; the sacrificed Passover Lamb, but now the glorified King Messiah (1Cor 5:7)!

What sort of maniac wants blood sacrifices, it's like a bad B-grade horror movie.

Priscilla Denise Defoe It's foreshadowing of Christ's manifestation and sacrifice, innocent blood shed for the guilty. To a non believer, it is illogical and ridiculous but to a believer, passover is representative of salvation. Animal sacrifice is no longer needed, according to Christian theology.
