DON'T BE A DECEIVED VICTIM OF HUMAN HUMILITY! Understand The True (Godly) Humility VS The False Humility of Men!

If a person does not really understand the RIGHT WAY and the WRONG WAY of Humility & Boasting, he/she can be easily deceived. Thus, People are misled to admire the False (Bad) "VOLUNTARY HUMILITY," as well as, the VAIN BOASTING of carnal Men (Colossians 2:18). If you are not able to escape from this deception, God's reward for you will be taken away! That's a high price to pay for your ignorance and carelessness! This article can help you avoid such a BIG LOSS, as it makes plain the rough understanding of people about this misunderstood subject of HUMILITY.

UNDERSTAND THE BAD & GOOD HUMILITY, AS WELL AS, THE BAD & GOOD BOASTING

• Let no man beguile you of your reward in a VOLUNTARY HUMILITY and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly PUFFED UP by his fleshly mind, (Col 2:18 KJV)

Yes, a person, especially a Pastor, Priest, or Monk, can appear so religious and humble, seducing and deceiving many people (Christians, Jews, etc.)! This deceptive "voluntary humility" leads people to the worship of the fallen angels and demons causing them to be slaves to their carnal (fleshy) lusts and impure passions & desires (Deuteronomy 32:17, Psalms 106:37, 1Cor 10:20-21, 1Timothy 4:1, Revelation 9:20), Colossians 2:23).

And this human humility blinds people to God's pure Truth causing them to resist, reject, and despise the Good Boastings of God's True Servants. This is how and why God's True Prophets, Servants, and even Christ were persecuted!

The secret key ID (Identification) of True Humility and Boasting is that of connection to Christ, who is the HEAD of the Church. If the Humility or Boasting of a Person, Pastor, Priest, Rabbi, Evangelist, or Church does not hold to, or is not connected to Christ, then they are all FALSE, BAD, and DECEPTIVE(Colossians 2:19)! 

• And NOT HOLDING THE HEAD (Christ), from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God. (Col 2:19 KJV)

• Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, “Touch not; taste not; handle not… AFTER THE COMMANDMENTS AND DOCTRINES OF MEN? (Col 2:20-22 KJV)

• Which things indeed APPEAR LIKE WISDOM IN SELF-IMPOSED WORSHIP, AND HUMILITY…but aren't of any value against the indulgence of the flesh. (Col 2:23 HNV)

TRUE HUMILITY DISCONNECTS YOU FROM THIS WORLD, AND CONNECTS YOU TO THE LORD GOD

True Christian humility convicts a person of his/her sins, the need for God's Mercy and Forgiveness, accepting Christ's personal sacrifice and death paying the wages of his/her sins. In other words, a true humble person is a repentant person who returns to God and all His ways.

Without all the above, a false self-humiliation results, which displays itself in ceremonies and ascetic self-abasement (Colossians 2:23). This outward show of human humility is actually a sort of spiritual pride under the mock guise of humility. This is in contrast to the command in 1Corinthians 1:31: "The one who boasts must boast in the Lord."

HERE ARE THE 4 COMPONENTS OF THE TRUE (GODLY) HUMILITY AND REPENTANCE (2Chronicles 7:14):

IF MY PEOPLE, which are called by My Name, SHALL 

1. HUMBLE THEMSELVES, and  
2. PRAY, and  
3. SEEK MY FACE, and  
4. TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS; 

then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2Chronicles 7:14 KJV)

The problem with most Christians today, is that, they just do the 1st & 2nd steps, but neglect the 3rd and 4th steps. In other words, they just HUMBLE themselves and PRAY; but they do not SEEK GOD'S FACE, neither do they TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS! Therefore, their humility is vain and rejected by God!

It is of great importance that we must strive to be clothed with the Godly Humility (1Peter 5:5). 

•  …BE CLOTHED WITH HUMILITY: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth Grace to the humble. (1Pet 5:5 KJV)

TRUE HUMILITY IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE ACCEPTED AND PROMOTED BY THE LORD GOD!

Our goal is to seek the praise, honor, and promotion that come from God the Father, not from Men (Romans 2:6-7, Matthew 23:12, 1Peter 5:6, Psalms 75:6-7). 

• God will render…To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: (Rom 2:6-7 KJV) 

• And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and HE THAT SHALL HUMBLE HIMSELF SHALL BE EXALTED. (Mat 23:12 KJV)

• HUMBLE YOURSELVES THEREFORE UNDER THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD, that He may exalt you in due time: (1Pet 5:6 KJV)

• For PROMOTION COMETH neither from the East, nor from the West, nor from the South. (Psa 75:6 KJV)

• For GOD IS THE JUDGE: He brings down one and EXALTS ANOTHER. (Psa 75:7 HCSB)

Brigitte Rosales Amen...this is what I do. And yet I long to be humble but I dont want to BE humbled...I see people who are humble and so beautiful the way they love and are so gentle and I know that being like them is what God loves...but I also know they have been through hell and I have not so I wonder if I can be like them on my own. ?

Helen Ajeng i not muttering to the condition i have been through, i try to be positif and accept the temptation i been test, i am not defeat my self only from your post i realise who am i, only one thing i desire most is, my self what is calling for me for willing of my life that God have purpose in my life not by other thought or other else oppinion, i dont mean deny some people in my life only who care of me, but i need healing in my life, in my soul, in my spirit and my mind a new me in Christ Jesus. but now i am stuck in my path to my faith, i dont know how to react to it and move to right direction to someone who really care of in this your posting i such realise how stupid i was didnt mention about his caring with this post. i only walk in the spirit of God who live in me not by other oppinion or even thought. i dont mean not love my brother or sister in Christ but i must has confident in me with holy spirit only i really miss my bone with holy spirit.
