ROSH HASHANAH or The FEAST OF TRUMPETS PROVES THE JEWISHNESS OF ALL HUMANITY! Rosh Hashanah is The Birthday of Jewish Humanity!

The FEAST OF TRUMPETS or ROSH HASHANAH is the Birthday of Jewish Mankind, as Adam (Man) was originally created by God to be Jewish. Rosh Hashanah is also a Day of Judgment. During this time, God judges all Mankind (Jews and Gentiles alike) according to the quality or degree of Jewishness that every person had done in his/her Earthly life. The standard of Jewishness used by the Heavenly Court in this Judgment proceedings is the supernal and pure Jewishness of Adam before the First Sin in the Garden of Eden.

ROSH HASHANAH OR THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS PROVES THE JEWISHNESS OF ALL HUMANITY!

What is Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets?

The Feast of Trumpets is the Birthday of Jewish Mankind, as Adam (Man) was originally created by God to be Jewish. This occurred in the 1st Day of the Month of TISHREI => On the 6th Day of the Creation Week. This means that Rosh Hoshana is the Anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve. Rosh Hoshana is also a Day of Judgment, as well as, the coronation of the King. All these are signalled by the sounding of the Shofar or Trumpet.

According to Rabbi Brad Hirschfield: "The Jewish People were born during what the Bible calls NISSAN => The First Month, when they left Egypt at Passover. ADAM and EVE, however, were born according to Rabbinic Tradition, during what the Bible calls the 7th month, TISHREI. And it is on the First Day of that 7th month when Rosh Hoshanah, the return to who we most yearn to be -- deserve to be -- is celebrated. In effect, Rosh Hoshanah affords each of us the opportunity to become Adam or Eve, to go back to the Beginning and start Fresh."

Thus, the Festival of Rosh Hashanah, which means "Head of the Year" is the Jewish New Year. It is on this Day that the First Actions of Mankind determine the quality and direction of Mankind's history in God's Master Plan.

ROSH HASHANAH: THE BEGINNING OF THE BUILDING OF GOD'S JEWISH KINGDOM OR MALCHUT

Kabbalistically, Rosh Hashanah is described as the beginning of the construction of the sefirah of Malchut or Kingdom. According to the Arizal, it is on Rosh Hashanah that the severing of the Female aspect of Humanity from the Male aspect (nesirah) occurs during the 10 days from the first day of Rosh Hoshana until Yom Kippur.

Malchut or the Kingdom of God represents God's sovereignty over the world and His creations. It is the revelation of God's sovereignty over the mundane

The construction of the Kingdom of God (Malchut) depends on each one of us. This is because God wishes to rule only over willing subjects. Our efforts and ability to assemble and build Malchut or God's Kingdom comes from the Oral Torah and Messianic Kabbalah.

ROSH HASHANAH IS A SPECIAL SABBATH AND FESTIVAL, COMMANDED BY GOD TO BE OBSERVED BY ALL OF JEWISH MANKIND!

ROSH HASHANAH, or FEAST OF TRUMPETS, then, is a special Sabbath or Festival, as commanded by GOD (Leviticus 23:24).

  • Speak unto the Children of Israel, saying, In the 7th Month, in the First Day of the Month, shall ye have A SABBATH, A MEMORIAL OF BLOWING OF TRUMPETS, an Holy Convocation (Lev 23:24 KJV).
As it is the Jewish NEW YEAR, it appears on the Jewish calendar. But Rosh Hoshana is a special Festival of both GOD and MAN; its meaning and celebration is not just for the Racial Jews. This is a Sabbath that involves ALL OF MANKIND, not just the Physical Nation of Israel.

ROSH HASHANAH IS THE YEARLY JUDGMENT DAY OF EVERY PERSON ON EARTH; JEWS & GENTILES ALIKE!

During Rosh Hashanah, all Mankind (Jews and Gentiles alike) are judged according to the quality or degree of Jewishness that every person had done in their earthly life. Thus, every Human Soul is judged at the Blowing of the Shofar.

The standard of Jewishness used in this Judgment proceedings is the supernal and pure Jewishness of Adam before the First Sin in the Garden of Eden. Thus, each year on Rosh Hashanah, Books are opened; and all the records (Thoughts, Speeches, and Actions) of every person on Earth are scrutinized by God. Based on these records the Heavenly Court will decree:
  1. Who shall LIVE, and who shall DIE;
  2. Who shall be ENRICHED and who shall be POVERTY-STRICKEN;
  3. Who shall RISE and who shall FALL.
THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS IS ALSO THE DAY THAT WE PROCLAIM GOD AS THE JEWISH KING OF THE UNIVERSE!

Rosh Hashanah is also the day we proclaim God as the King of the Universe. This is very important because the continued existence of the Earth and the Universe is dependent upon the renewal of God's divine desire for a world or group of people that willingly accepts His Rulership each year (Exodus 19:8).
  • And all the people answered together, and said, ALL that The LORD hath SPOKEN WE WILL DO. And Moses returned the words of the People unto The LORD.  (Exo 19:8 KJV)
Thus, Rosh Hashanah emphasizes the special Jewish relationship between God and humanity. This depends upon our faith and dependence upon God as our Creator and Sustainer, and God's dependence upon us as His Children who make His Presence and Glory known and felt in His world and all creations.

THE VITAL ROLE AND FUNCTION OF THE SHOFAR SOUNDS

The main observance of Rosh Hoshana is the sounding of the Trumpet called Shofar (the ram's horn). The blowing of the Shofar signifies the following major events in Mankind's Jewish history:
  1. People's coronation of their King.
  2. The sounding of the ram's horn are to recall the sacrifice of Isaac by Abraham before God.
  3. The cry of the shofar is also a call to repentance. This is because Rosh Hoshana is also the anniversary of man's first sin and his repentance. This serves as the first of the "Ten Days of Repentance" which culminate in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement (Leviticus 25:9).
  • You shall cause the TRUMPET (SHOFAR) of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth of the 7th Month; in the Day of Atonement, the TRUMPET shall sound throughout all your land. (Lev 25:9 MKJV)
ROSH HOSHANA'S CONNECTION TO ABRAHAM'S SACRIFICE OF ISAAC

Rabbi Abahu said, 'God says blow before Me with a ram's horn, so that I may recall for you the binding of Isaac, son of Abraham, and I will consider it upon you as if you bound yourselves before Me." --
Talmud Rosh Hashanna 16a

Because the ram is what Abraham offered in place of his son Isaac, the sounding of the ram's horn are to recall this event before God.

From this Talmudic statement we can see that Rosh Hoshana demands a complete devotion to God. We must render ourselves as if bound on the altar, like Isaac. We accomplish this via the Jewish Shofar blasts. This Jewish act attests to our commitment to Abraham's perfect sacrifice. By this, each one of us (Jews and Gentiles alike) became a Child of Abraham, qualifying us to receive and benefit from the blessings and the Covenant promised by God to Abraham and his posterity.

The lesson of Abraham's sacrifice is not to end when Rosh Hoshana ends. This special Sabbath and Festival must redirect our focus from the mundane, to the supernal reality of God's presence and role in our lives as our Heavenly Father and Sustainer. God is to occupy our thoughts throughout the year (Proverbs, 3:5-6).
  • Trust in The LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.  (Pro 3:5-6 HNV)
