Many people, even religious ones, cannot accept GOD'S WRATH. All that they wanted is GOD'S LOVE, not knowing that God's Wrath is connected to God's Love. With their ignorance about "WHO IS GOD?" And with their misunderstanding of "WHAT IS GOD," they missed the many great benefits of GOD'S WRATH.

1. GOD'S WRATH DELIVERS SOMEONE FROM HELL
God's Wrath delivers someone from Hell (Proverbs 23:14).
- Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. (Pro 23:14 KJV)
- FOOLISHNESS is tangled up in the heart of a youth; the rod of discipline will drive it away from him. (Pro 22:15)
- The ROD AND REPROOF GIVE WISDOM; but a child LEFT TO HIMSELF causeth shame to his mother. (Pro 29:15 JPS)
WHY? Because these deceived Churches pampered and indulged their members and believers.
Let's listen to what some Bible Commentators says about this verse of Proverbs 29:15.
Albert Barnes' Notes on the Bible said:
Left to himself - The condition of one who has been pampered and indulged. The mother who yields weakly is as guilty of abandoning the child she spoils, as if she cast him forth; and for her evil neglect, there shall fall upon her the righteous punishment of shame and ignominy. -- BARNES
From John Gill's Exposition of the Entire Bible:
The rod and reproof give wisdom... Are the means of giving wisdom to a child, reproved by its parent with the rod; and of driving out foolishness from him, and of making him wiser for the time to come; he shunning those evils for which he was before corrected (Pro 22:15); So the children of God grow wiser by the corrections and chastisements of their heavenly Father, which are always for their good; and he is a man of wisdom that hearkens to the rod, and to him that has appointed it, and learns the proper instructions from it (Mic 6:9);
but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame; a child that has the reins thrown upon his neck, is under no restraint of parents, but suffered to take his own way, is left to do his own will and pleasure; he does those things which his parents are ashamed of, one as well as another; though the mother is only mentioned, being generally most fond and indulgent, and most criminal in suffering children to have their own wills and ways; and so has the greater share in the shame that follows on such indulgences. -- John Gill
3. GOD'S WRATH (DISCIPLINE) GIVES YOU REST, COMFORT, AND DELIGHT
- Discipline your son, and you will get rest, and it will give delight to your soul. (Pro 29:17 LITV)
4. GOD'S WRATH (REBUKE) REMOVES DARKNESS AND GIVES LIGHT
- Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather REPROVE them. (Eph 5:11 MKJV)
- All things that are REPROVED are made manifest by the Light, for WHATEVER MAKES MANIFEST IS LIGHT. (Eph 5:13 MKJV)
- Come, children, listen to me; I WILL TEACH YOU THE FEAR OF THE LORD. (Psa 34:11)
- THEM THAT SIN REBUKE BEFORE ALL, that others also may FEAR. (1Tim 5:20 KJV)
- Oh, that there were such an heart in them, THAT THEY WOULD FEAR ME, AND KEEP ALL MY COMMANDMENTS ALWAYS, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! (Deu 5:29 KJV)
- Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: (Eph 4:26 KJV)
- Go ahead and be angry. You do well to be angry -- but don't use your anger as fuel for revenge. And don't stay angry. Don't go to bed angry. (Eph 4:26 MSG)
- ...when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. (Isa 26:9 KJV)
- Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. (Psa 119:67 KJV)
- For True and Righteous are His judgments... (Rev 19:2 KJV)
- It is never fun to be corrected. In fact, at the time it is always painful. But if we learn to obey by being corrected, we will do right and live at peace. (Heb 12:11 CEV)
- Now stand up straight! Stop your knees from shaking and WALK A STRAIGHT PATH. Then lame people will be healed, instead of getting worse. (Heb 12:12-13 CEV)
