JUSTIFIED HATRED > The POSITIVE SIDE OF ANGER YOU SHOULD USE FOR THE SAKE OF GOD THE FATHER AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS!

If there is Baseless Hatred, there is also Justified Hatred. The only difference is that Justified Hatred leads to the Righteousness of the Creator GOD, to the fulfillment of His WILL; while Baseless Hatred leads to Evil and rebellion against God the Father. In other words, Baseless Hatred is a sin, and it leads to more sins, while Justified Hatred removes sin and/or the effects of sin.

Anger or hatred is an energy that can be used in a productive way or destructive way. Thus, we are commanded to use and channel the energy of our anger to the productive and honorable applications; that will result in the HONOR OF GOD AND MAN! For example, we must learn to hate our Evil Inclination! We must hate sins. We must, therefore, learn to use this awesome energy in the productive and Godly ways!

BE ANGRY, BUT DON'T SIN!

• Be angry and do not sin. Don't let the sun go down on your anger, and don't give the Devil an opportunity. (Eph 4:26-27)

"BE ANGRY..." So, we are actually commanded by the Bible to be angry or hate something! But, we should not forget the other half of the command: "...and DO NOT SIN."

HATE EVIL AND WICKEDNESS!

• You love righteousness, and hate wickedness; therefore God, Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows. (Psa 45:7 MKJV) 

• Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? (Psa 139:21 KJV)

• I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. (Psa 139:22 KJV)

CLASSIC EXAMPLES OF JUSTIFIED, RIGHTEOUS HATRED

1. The daring action of Phinehas, in piercing a javelin into the body of Zimri and his woman, while committing grievous sin of sexual immorality, is a classic example of justified hatred. Justified hatred that was used for the sake of God. 

Phinehas has a holy indignation at the offenders against God (Num 25:7-8). God, then greatly rewarded him for that zealous action (Num 25:10-13).

• ... Behold, I GIVE UNTO HIM MY COVENANT OF PEACE. (Num 25:12 KJV)

• And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; BECAUSE HE WAS ZEALOUS FOR HIS GOD, and MADE AN ATONEMENT FOR THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL.  (Num 25:13 KJV)

2. Another classic example of justified or righteous hatred is the daring fight and win of the young David against the giant Goliath who despised God and the nation of Israel. David fought and conquered Goliath for the sake of God and His Israel. This classic story is known and popular to almost everyone.

LEARN THE PROPER AND RIGHTEOUS APPLICATIONS OF YOUR ANGER

A person should never hate for no Godly reason at all. And there are circumstances in which hatred is appropriate and desirable. The secret of anger is that: YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO ALWAYS CONTROL YOUR ANGER. NEVER ALLOW ANGER TO CONTROL YOU!

• He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit is better than he who takes a city.  (Pro 16:32 MKJV)

The ultimate redemption will certainly have no use for the negative use of hatred. Once GOD removes all the evil in the world, there will be no reason for hatred.

But the path to redemption or salvation requires hatred that is properly based and appropriately directed. We must hate what God Himself hates. We must hate those who hate GOD and His Will.
