Our Global situation today is exactly the same as that during the time of Queen Esther. The Jews experienced joy at having been invited to the Pagan Feast of King Ahasuerus, who is the King of the Whole World at that time. As they took their places among the Persians, Medians, Babylonians, Chaldeans and the other Nationalities of the Kingdom, their hearts gravitate towards worldly pleasures, prestige, and attractions.
WORLDLY PAGAN FESTIVALS AND ACTIVITIES MAKE YOU FORGET THE TRUE GOD
With their joy and excitement at the Feast of Ahasuerus, the Jews forgot their GOD, and their uniqueness as the People and Nation under the special care and protection of God. Their thinking and feelings demonstrated their independence of God and now is of dependence to the Emperor as the basis for their sustenance and survival.
DON'T FALL INTO THE SATAN'S TRAP OF LUSTFUL PLEASURES, PARTYING, WORLDLY SECURITY AND MATERIAL WEALTH!
Without realizing it, God's people entered a capricious and dangerous world. Haman, their enemy, becomes Prime Minister and prevails upon King Ahasuerus to sign a decree of genocide against them.
The Midrash illustrates Haman's tactics. Like the Serpent in Garden of Eden,
he aims at the weakened morality of the Jews in an attempt to lead
them to their downfall. Haman devised a plan to corrupt the morals of
the Jewish exiles in Shushan -- leaving them Spiritually vulnerable. This Satanic tactic is also being used today in Christians, as it was used to seduce Eve in the Garden (2Corinthans 11:3).

sees a parallel between the eating of the fruit of this forbidden
