Malachi 4:4 shows the importance of the Law (the Written Torah), and the Oral Law (the Statutes and Judgments). These were all given to Moses by God at Mount Sinai. The Written Law (Torah) and the Oral Law are both necessary to transform oneself and attain salvation.

The LAW OF MOSES WITH THE STATUTES AND JUDGMENTS ARE MORE DESIRABLE THAN ABUNDANCE OF PURE GOLD!

• They are of great reward, and you are warned by them (Psalm 19:7-11 KJV). 

This is the reason why GOD reminded all of us to remember the Law of Moses... (Mal 4:4).

• The LAW (Torah) of the LORD is Perfect (Complete), converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. (Psa 19:7 KJV) 

• The Statutes (Pikud) of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the Commandment (Mitzvah) of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. (Psa 19:8 KJV)

• More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great Reward (Psa 19:10-11 KJV).

THE GREAT IMPORTANCE AND LIFE BENEFITS OF GOD'S STATUTES AND JUDGMENTS 

• ... LOVE THE LORD THY GOD, walk in His ways, and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS AND HIS STATUTES AND HIS JUDGMENTS, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee...  (Deu 30:16 KJV)

• Ye shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.  (Lev 18:4 KJV) 

• Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.  (Lev 18:5 KJV)

1. The decrees You issue are righteous and altogether trustworthy.  (Psalms 119:138)
