Try to analyze what the brutal sports (Boxing, UFC, WWE, etc.) are really doing to you and your nation. Just after the fight of Manny Pacquiao against his challenger Clottey, many said that it is a boring fight, and they craved for more exciting and thrilling fights in the future, especially that of between Pacquiao and Mayweather. This "boring" fight even resulted in the low sales of Pacquaio's pirated DVD's as people are not interested compared to Pacquiao's previous fights. 

Then came the "trilogy" fight of Pacquiao and Marquez. The same reaction from the audience and boxing authorities: they were disappointed from the "poor" performance of Manny Pacquaio. They expect and clamor for more cruel and brutal fight (knockout, more bloodshed, killer punch, etc.). Thus, the worldwide audience is becoming more blood-thirsty to satisfy their sadistic desires!

WHY BORING, AND NOT EXCITING?

Now, let's analyze this feeling of "boring" and "exciting." People are bored because there is not much action in the side of Clottey, and Manny was not able to knock him down. Comparing this to Manny's 2nd round knockout of Hatton, to them it is really boring.

So, this is what people really enjoyed and is looking for everytime they watch sports like this: actions that "knock down" the opponent. If Pacquiao will be the one to be knocked down, it is also exciting, even more. And the glory and honor will be transferred to the new world champion!

ENJOYING BRUTAL SPORTS FEEDS THE EVIL INCLINATION TO CLAMOR FOR MORE VIOLENCE!

And the cycle of this brutal entertainment continuous! People and nations just don't realize that these evil sports served as food to the Evil Inclination (Yetzer Hara) lurking inside every person that enjoy these sports. The Yetzer Hara, which is actually the Satan inside every human being, is made stronger and is clamoring for more blood, destruction, and death.

The BOTTOMLINE OF ALL VIOLENT SPORTS:

MONEY, POWER, PRESTIGE, AND CORRUPT POPULARITY!

Therefore, more and more people are drawn into this kind of entertainment clamoring for more violent and deadly actions in the ring. They enjoy it, make business of it, gamble on it. And the champion will be idolized by the people making him a profitable endorser of many products and services. This will enrich him even more, and also the corporations using him. The Media and politics will also take advantage of this very popular celebrity. Meantime, the youth will be "inspired" by this champion and they will try to follow his path to fame and fortune.

Why are they doing all these? For a reward, for a short-live fame, for money. It's the same motivation for the organizers, promoters, the trainers, and the media: Ratings, MONEY, large sums of money, multi-billion dollar business!

IF MAN CAN AFFORD TO SACRIFICE HUMAN LIVES FOR THEIR ENTERTAINMENT AND BUSINESSES, HOW CAN THE BLOODY HOSTAGE-TAKING AND POLICE BRUTALITY BE STOPPED?

If man can afford to sacrifice human lives for their sports, entertainment, and big businesses, how can he solve terrorism, heinous crimes, and the worsening Climate Change crises?

Yet, the fans and the whole world honors and rewards someone for destroying one of God's potential son to death! What kind of morality is this? Oh, Man, how low have you fallen down in the abyss of evil and corruption!

But there is one very serious thing that these people, and the entire nation, and the whole world do not know! GOD pronounced a CURSE to such sports and entertainment businesses!

WHAT DOES GOD SAY?

God has pronounced a CURSE in this kind of corrupt entertainment! (Deu 27:24-25). And the curse is attached to any individual or nation that are entertained and even promote this corrupt entertainment! Then, their nation is subjected to more and more corrupt practices, with all kinds of moral "diseases" from head to foot. What they enjoyed and made profit of, will backfire and destroy them all in the end!

God's comments and judgments are already written and recorded in His Bible. Let's go there and see and hear what God has to say about these Boxing Sport and others that are now dominating the entertainment field of modern civilization.

When wickedness is honored and rewarded, it abounds. The time this is done is really very bad. When the vilest men are exalted to places of honor and power, then the wicked walk on every side. The wicked roam undisturbed doing evil when vileness and vile men are exalted. And an exalted sinner encourages sinners. They are neither afraid nor ashamed to show themselves, They declare their sin as Sodom and there is none to check or control them. No wonder iniquity or lawlessness abounds.

AS THE ROMAN EMPIRE WAS DESTROYED BY GOD BECAUSE OF BRUTAL SPORTS OF GLADIATORS, NATIONS TODAY ARE IN THE SAME DIRECTION; AS THEY ENJOY BRUTAL SPORTS OF BOXING, UFC, WWE, ETC.!

The Roman Empire was destroyed by God because of these games or sports of death. Should we be surprised when God also punishes us to sufferings and death via earthquakes, tsunamis, supertyphoons, EL NINOs, tragic accidents, disease pandemics, wars, heinous crimes, terrorism, massacres, and finally, the GREAT TRIBULATION?

Samuel Maheo Eventhough I find it evil, I used to watch UFC sometimes with friends without analysing the evil consequences of this sport. I learnt a lot of insights. Now I am convinced that I should not watch evil sports for mere entertainment...

Fighting sports are about sport, not hatred. Using your reasoning you could argue that playing chess is about hatred and war, rather than strategic gameplay
