THE 7TH DAY SABBATH IS THE "BATTERY CHARGER" OF THE ENTIRE CREATION!
Looking at it another way, the SABBATH is the COMMISSIONING 7th DAY of the 6 Days of Creation. For Engineers, commissioning is the time to check and put to work the Construction of a Building, Manufacturing Plant, or Power Plant according to its Design. Thus, after the construction of a Building or Plant, it is put into proper operation by the Commissioning process.
In other words, the 7th Day Sabbath is the only Day of the week that gives the Life Force and Holy Energy for Man and the created Universe to guarantee their continuous existence. Otherwise, Mankind and the Whole Universe will be Lifeless, destroyed, and come to their ends! Thus, the 7th Day Sabbath was made by God for the benefit and welfare of Man and his universal environment (Mark 2:27).

The 7th Day SABBATH is of immense importance to the continual peaceful and prosperous existence of Man and the entire created universe. Yet, many people and Churches don't see the great importance and benefit of the weekly 7th Day Sabbath to the peaceful existence and stability of Man and the Whole Universe. They insist their man-made reasonings to argue that the Sabbath is already "done away," or that the Sabbath can be observed any day of the week.
Nevertheless, we have seen that the blessings and holiness of the first 6 days of the week depend on the 7th Day Sabbath. This means that the success and failures of your efforts and undertakings in the following 6 days of the week depends on how you observed or does not observe the 7th Day Sabbath.
The first 6 days of the Creation Week all pertain to the physical aspects of Creation. The 7th Day Sabbath is the Spiritual aspect of Creation without which the 6 physical days will be without blessings, and are unstable.
Jesus Christ -- the LORD OF THE SABBATH, spoke the following truth:
- IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE. The flesh (physical) profits nothing. (John 6:63 HNV)
- But there are some of you who don't believe. (John 6:64 HNV)
SATURDAY IS THE 7TH DAY SABBATH OF THE WEEK!
The Almighty God, the Creator of the Sabbath and the whole universe is very clear and specific: The 7th Day is the Sabbath, and He blessed and sanctified it for the sustenance and stability of His Creation.
Although there are attempts by some organizations to manipulate the Christian calendar to show that Sunday is the 7th Day, the truth cannot be changed that the 7th Day is the SATURDAY of our weekly cycle. This truth is shown by history with the Julian and Gregorian calendars that existed for thousands of years.
The same Sabbath that Jesus Christ and His Apostles observed (Luke 4:16,31; Acts 13:14,42,44) is the same 7th day
Sabbath (Saturday) that Sabbath-keeping Jews and Christians observed today.
Therefore, the 7th Day Sabbath that corresponds to our Saturday today, must be properly observed to capture and preserve the holy energy and blessings from God, for the benefit of Man and his environment (Gen 2:2-3, Exo 20:8, Mark 2:27).
- On the SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made. (Gen 2:2 KJV)
- And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and SANCTIFIED IT: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made. (Gen 2:3 KJV)
SABBATH REST IS NOT ONLY THE STOPPAGE OF PHYSICAL WORK. SABBATH REST IS MORE OF THE "RECHARGING" OF THE SOUL, AND DOING THE SPIRITUAL WORK OF GOD!
During the other 6 days of the week, we focus more on our body needs and efforts, with the tendency to neglect the needs of our souls. When Sabbath comes, it is a God-designed time and opportunity to focus on the needs of our souls. As we focus on our souls, our bodies also benefit.
Thus, Sabbath Rest is not merely the stoppage of our physical work, or relaxation, doing nothing. Rest is more of the energizing the soul rather than the body. Something happens within the soul during the Sabbath, a shift of perception that enlivens us. We begin to see the spiritual reality of the world around us. We gain understanding, and that understanding lifts up and connects our souls to God.

Mason Malpass Lope, I have tried for years to get a Sabbath keeper to explain exactly how they keep the Sabbath. It is the longest of the 10, and much more is contained within it than just remember and rest. There is the requirement that you also allow your servants, and cattle, as well as the stranger withing your gates to rest. When given, it wasn't a problem knowing how to let them rest. However, today, our servants look very different, as appliances do the work humans did back then, but still, those appliances will not work without human help. The stranger in our gates.......Electricity perhaps? It requires human help also. Perhaps you have the answer.

What God did with the other 5 days of the week is to pronounce them as GOOD. And the reason why the 3rd Day was pronounced GOOD twice because the 2nd DAY was not pronounced GOOD (for a certain reason). The double (2) pronouncements of GOOD in the 3rd day is to compensate for the lack of GOOD pronounced in the 2nd day. But the main fact, is that ONLY THE 7th DAY SABBATH was declared BLESSED BY GOD, AND EVEN MADE IT HOLY!
