The APOSTLE PAUL'S WARNING TO ALL CHRISTIANS AND JEWS: Savage Wolves Will Enter The Churches! And Perverse Pastors Will Arise From Among Yourselves!

Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, had foreseen all the attacks against God's Churches throughout the ages. These attacks and attempts to destroy the Church and God's people will be coming both from within and without! 

As his last appearance to the Church of Ephesus, he then called for a Ministerial Conference, inviting the elders of the church; the pastors, bishops, and overseers (Act 20:17). Paul's main messages to the leadership of the Ephesus Church are the following (from HCSB Bible translation):

• Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among whom the Holy Spirit has appointed you as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.  (Act 20:28) 

• I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.  (Act 20:29) 

• And men from among yourselves will rise up with deviant doctrines to lure the disciples into following them.  (Act 20:30) 

• Therefore be on the alert, remembering that night and day for three years I did not stop warning each one of you with tears. (Act 20:31)

HOW DID PAUL KNOW? AND HOW CAN WE REALLY KNOW? 

We can know from the Parable of the WHEAT and Tares.
