PURE RELIGION IS "TO VISIT THE ORPHANS AND WIDOWS." YET, GOD ALSO COMMANDS TO "LEAVE YOUR ORPHANS AND WIDOWS" (Jeremiah 49:11). There is No Contradiction Here. They Only Need Explanation.



James 1:27 commands us "to visit orphans," but in Jeremiah 49:11, God commands us to "Leave your orphans." These two Bible verses seem to be contradictory. But they do not contradict; they only need explanation.

One major objective of the True Religion, which is pure and undefiled before God, is "to visit orphans and widows in their affliction" (James 1:27). What does this phrase really mean?
  • PURE RELIGION and UNDEFILED before God and The Father is this, To VISIT the FATHERLESS and WIDOWS in their AFFLICTION… (James 1:27 KJV)
WHAT DOES IT MEAN, "TO VISIT THE FATHERLESS AND WIDOWS?"

TO VISIT THE FATHERLESS AND WIDOWS IN THEIR AFFLICTION; and not only to see them, and speak a word of comfort to them, but to communicate to them, and supply their wants, as they may require, and according to the ability God has given: where there is true religion in the heart, there is love to God; and where there is love to God, there is love to the saints; and this will show itself to them, in times of affliction and distress... – JOHN GILL’s EXPOSITION OF THE ENTIRE BIBLE

TO VISIT: Although, there is that physical aspect of doing this, let me discuss a deeper meaning of the phrase, in conjunction with Jeremiah 49:11. The Phrase means to come and teach them the SOD Level of the Bible; that is, the Secrets and Mysteries of the Kingdom of God, which is the Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom. 

Messianic Kabbalah brings the supernal Wisdom and Knowledge that will lead the orphans and widows to really know God the Father and Jesus Christ in an intimate, Face-to-Face relationship. 
  • This is Eternal Life: that they may KNOW YOU, The only True God, and The One You have sent--Jesus Christ.  (John 17:3 HCSB)
Only the Messianic Kabbalah has the wisdom and power to truly make the orphans (Fatherless) realize that they have a Father (God The Father).  

And the Widows (husbandless) must realize that they have a Husband (Jesus Christ). 
  • For Your Maker is Your Husband; The LORD of Armies is His Name: and The Holy One of Yisra'el is your Redeemer; The God of the whole Earth shall He be called. (Isa 54:5 HNV)
Thus, when the Churches and the Preachers fulfilled their mission of preaching the True Gospel of God's Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom (Matthew 24:14, Revelation 14:6), the physical orphans and widows are brought to the intimate and Face-to-Face relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ. This means that the orphans now realize that God the Father is their Spiritual Father (Psalms 68:5, Matthew 23:9).  
  • A Father of the Fatherless, and a Defender of the Widows, is God in His holy habitation.  (Psa 68:5 HNV)
  • And call no Man your Father upon the Earth: for one is your Father, which is in Heaven.  (Mat 23:9 KJV)
Similarly, the Widows now realize that Jesus Christ is their Spiritual Husband (Isaiah 54:5). When this is done, we should now abandon or leave them in the care of God the Father and Jesus Christ (Jeremiah 49:11). 
  • LEAVE YOUR ORPHANS; I will keep them ALIVE; and LET YOUR WIDOWS TRUST IN ME.  (Jer 49:11 MKJV)
In other words, we should let the Orphans and Widows trust in God the Father and Jesus Christ, NOT in the Churches, Religions, and their Pastors, Priests, Rabbis, etc.
